Job Responsibilities:

• Analyzes customer reception problems, restores service, connects and adjusts, if necessary, the latter’s peripheral devices. He ensures that at all times the subscriber is satisfied with his service.
• Executes, if necessary, equipment installation, coaxial cable installation, disconnection or recovery work at the customer’s premises, according to standards.
• Informs who it concerns of maintenance and/or repair needs of the cable television and/or telecommunications network (FHC) when the standards cannot be met.
• Is called upon to identify the causes of breakdowns and carry out repairs as soon as possible. He also performs curative and preventive maintenance work on the HFC network as well as all other defects affecting the quality of the signal, all according to established standards.
• Maintain at an optimal level of performance and quality the optical links, the master lines, the distribution lines, the branch lines and what is attached to them (HFC network), according to the standards.

Job Requirements:

• Two (2) years of relevant experience in telecommunications and/or cable television
• Have successfully completed specialized training in telecommunications and/or cable television such as NCTI or other equivalent course recognized by the company
• Have taken the general safety course on construction sites and hold a skills card from an organization recognized by ASP Construction
