Job Description:

Reporting to the Business Technical Operations Director, the Technical Account Manager is a strategic pillar representing the interests of major business customers within the company, working closely with internal departments to ensure that the business and operational needs of targeted clients are met to their full satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement performance indicators and monitor operational tools relating to event reports and compliance with service agreements
  • Perform, in partnership with the client’s technical teams, whiteboard sessions in the search for solutions or improvement of services
  • Represent internal target clients to other functional groups by channeling the flow of communication for all types of projects
  • Develop, produce and consolidate event reports (post mortem) in collaboration with internal partners
  • Lead diagnostics during crisis management with targeted clients and act as a single point of contact, both internally and externally
  • Manage the staff under his responsibility
  • Ensure a smooth technical transition of projects for its targeted customers from delivery to post-installation operations. Act as an expert with partners, internal and external, regarding the understanding of services, and their added value within more or less complex solutions
  • Act as a mediator and represent the interests of clients internally and the interests of the company vis-à-vis clients
  • Develop, structure and supervise event management for targeted clients. Prepare executive summaries for VA/FN senior management

Job Requirements:

  • Broad and deep technical knowledge, in most of the following areas: Business telephony, SIP, cloud telephony, private telephone switch (PBX), internetworking, Internet (access, security), MPLS, SD-WAN, Fiber Services (EPV) /VPL, Lambda, etc.), Computer networks (LAN, WAN, Intranet, WIFI), Business mobility, Internet of things.
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in telecommunications, including 5 years in high-level technical support
  • 6 years+ of experience in a technical sales role (CSE) or equivalent
  • Knowledge of tendering principles and business contracts
