Job Description:

Reporting to the Wireless Access Detailed Engineering Manager, you will have an important role in several group tasks and responsibilities in addition to occasionally supporting your fellow engineers in the performance of their duties.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support engineers in the day-to-day operational activities of the team and in issuing detailed quotes for current or special projects, deployment of energy equipment, radios, microwaves, antennas, etc.
• Participate in the monitoring and achievement of the various team indicators.
• Ensure the maintenance of network inventory databases, analyze their functionalities, produce improvement requests and ensure compliance follow-up with the development teams.
• Improve deployment processes, scenarios and installation methods for wireless equipment.
• Participate in the realization of studies of new products (tests, measurements, report writing, etc.)
• Extract information from the source data of the inventory databases and develop reports that can be used for the purpose of analyzing the elements of the wireless network.
• Improve group efficiency by developing work tools

Job Requirements:

• Strong ability to adapt to a changing context and priorities.
• Systematic analytical capacity in problem solving.
• Technical knowledge and experience of wireless network operation and different topologies.
• Functional bilingualism (English-French, spoken and written).
• Have basic knowledge of radio engineering of wireless networks.
