Job Description:
This position is responsible for the research, design, and implementation of university-wide and unit based organizational effectiveness programs and services and staff learning and development programs and services, in support of the strategic priorities of UM.
Job Requirements:
- Master’s degree, CPHR designation, a certificate in management, or a certificate in Human Resources are preferred.
- Experience working in a university environment or other large organizational environment is preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate leadership regarding outstanding workplace practices is required.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel is required.
- Experience working on employee engagement and organizational development initiatives is preferred.
- Strong facilitation, program planning, development and consulting skills are required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Experience with applications such as Captivate or Creative Cloud including InDesign, Photoshop etc, is preferred.
- An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Ability to manage multiple diverse priorities, while working collaboratively with the team is required.
- University degree related to adult education, organizational development, human resources, or a related field is required.
- Experience in delivering training and creating presentations is required.
- Experience in program development and administration is required.
- Experience in adult education programing & adult learning design is required.
- Satisfactory work record, including satisfactory attendance and punctuality, is required.
