Job Description:

The Director will work closely with the Associate Vice-President, Capital Planning & Redevelopment and the broader senior leadership team to support the overall achievement of the strategy

Job Responsibilities:

• Provides leadership to advance the Redevelopment of the new Peter Gilgan Mississauga Hospital project on behalf of the organization.
• Supports the progression of the project through the Ontario Ministry of Health & Long-Term Care’s capital planning process.
• Coordinates and plans with other agencies having jurisdiction, including but not limited to the Ontario Health, City of Mississauga, and Infrastructure Ontario.
• Directly oversee, administer key consultant, and contractor contracts, and act as day to day contact
• Oversee a team that has the responsibility of delivering the project through all phases of design and construction.
• Advises on and supports effective representative/cross functional governance structures

• Ability to build effective working relationships with a dynamic, professional team.
• Demonstrated, skilled people management and staff development with emphasis on coaching, mentoring and leadership.
• Skilled at executive stakeholder management.
