Interim Manager

Job Description:

Reporting to the Director of the THP Oncology Program, the Manager of Clinical Trials will work collaboratively with the Physician Lead,

Job Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing the strategic plan for clinical trials, including the establishment of objectives/goals
• Developing, implementing and evaluating policy and procedures consistent with internal Standard Operating Procedures and standard regulatory requirements
• Establishing and maintaining business partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
• Maintaining a collaborative network within the clinical trials community
• Management of the day-to-day operations of the Department while participating in the implementation of organizational strategic directives
• Monitoring the portfolio of academic and industry studies

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the management of prospective, interventional Phase II-IV Academic & Industry sponsored clinical trials required, oncology preferred
• Minimum of 2 years leadership experience required
• Experience in financial planning, accounting principles and business practices an asset
• Project Management skills and experience an asset
• Strong leadership, communication and problem solving skills required
