Senior Project Manager

Job Description:

The Senior Project Manager will support Edge partners in the ideation, development and successful execution of their Commercialization Projects, including overseeing project budgets, scope and timelines

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee multiple Commercialization Projects within the Ontario Network; including but not limited to the planning, coordination, evaluation, and budget management required of the project
• Preparation and presentation of project documentation including proposals, project plans, budgets, meeting agendas, pitch documents and decks.
• Monitor and report on progress, risks and issues associated with each project to all stakeholders and escalate as appropriate.
• Provide strategies for risk mitigation and resolution where appropriate.
• Maintain ongoing relationships, and develop new relationships, with key external partners including but not limited to Edges, Companies, Scaling Partners, Ecosystem Partners, etc.
• Oversee team of 1-2 project managers.

Job Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a highly ambiguous environment and apply superior critical thinking skills to develop strategic and innovative approaches and solutions to novel problems.
• Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Effective interpersonal communications skills and ability to successfully build and maintian relationships with senior leaders, scientists, research staff and frontline clinicians.
• Strong ability to facilitate/chair group discussions with stakeholders at varying levels of an organization, from both public and private sectors and to keep the group very task focused and results oriented.
