Job Description:
Sobeys is full of exciting opportunities, and we are always looking for bright new talent to join our team! We currently have a full-time opportunity for an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Analyst on our Shared Services team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver Daily and Weekly Reporting
- Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives to drive efficiencies and address root cause issues
- Meet business targets and KPI’s
- Provide a high level of customer service for our trading partners by ensuring that all EDI errors are addressed and resolved in a timely manner
- Participate in implementation
- Work to identify opportunities for new and more efficient ways to perform EDI tasks.
- Assist with managing and supporting projects in preparation of implementation
- Testing as required and maintenance for changes to existing EDI trading partners in SAP and external EDI systems
- Communication with Suppliers and Internal Business Groups to ensure integrity of data and best practices are followed
- Testing and set up of new EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) trading partners in SAP and external EDI systems
Job Requirements:
- EDI knowledge
- Relevant education in Business (i.e.College Diploma or University Degree); equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven time management, organization, prioritization, and multitasking skills
- Strong computer skills; Proficient use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Retail experience considered an asset
- Experience using SAP Preferred
- Bilingual, French and English written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Minimum 2 – 5 years relevant work experience within an office environment
