Manager Replenishment

Job Description:

Work with the Director Replenishment to build a national strategy and structure to best support the Company’s replenishment performance

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop reports to determine priorities and areas of opportunity and confirm/communicates results; creates ad hoc reports as necessary
• Implement procurement plans that incorporate strategies for product quality
• Ensure efficient operation of the business to achieve all financial targets and contribute to budgeted KPIs
• Monitor vendor performance with respect to order-fill (service levels) and on-time delivery
• Identify and develop opportunities for inbound freight revenue generation
• Accountable for forecast accuracy, service level, inventory turns and shrink
• Ensure that the replenishment function meets budgeted replenishment targets and contributes to the respective region and banner strategies
• Provide leadership and guidance to the replenishment team and other internal stakeholders in the development and management of best-practice forecasting and inventory management processes that will meet or exceed benchmarks for customer order-fill, freshness and inventory turns
• Manage the roll out of the demand planning process across all regions
• Communicate opportunities to vendors and category managers for improvement (as required)

Job Requirements:

• Strong Knowledge of demand forecasting principles and inventory planning
• Deep understanding of buying functions
• Ability to identify operational issues and proactively drive solutions
• Ability to communicate effectively with category teams and vendors
• Ability to drive results within the team
• Ability to plan the resources effectively
• Ability to provide clear direction to their team
• Ability to build and strengthen partnerships with vendors within each division
• Ability to work in a stress and pressure environment
• Ability to work with a team
