Job Description:

The Financial Analyst, Operations will provide financial analysis and business decision support to the Manager Finance, Operations and/or Director Finance, Operations, District Operators and Store Operators/Franchisees. This is a 9 months contract.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Business Process Optimization (BPO) and Continuous Improvement Teams to identify opportunities to reduce costs
  • Prepare various analytical reports
  • Analyze capital investment opportunities as required
  • Put forward suggestions to improve functional area processes
  • Communicate effectively with functional area managers and employees
  • Develop and manage various reports in various systems including SAP, Longview, BMR, and BW
  • Assist in forecasting, targeting, and budgeting process
  • Prepare various ad-hoc reporting requests
  • Perform account reconciliations and account analysis
  • Perform moderately complex analysis in a specific area such as capital spending and budget
  • Perform required administrative tasks which may include running SAP reports, participating in meetings, and responding to phone and e-mail messages
  • Maintain various reporting requirements
  • Provide excellent level of customer service to all levels of the business
  • Adhere to GAAP and CEO/ CFO Certification
  • Assist in development of performance analysis
  • Special projects as assigned
  • Communication with District Operator and team

Job Requirements:

  • Working towards accounting designation (CMA or CGA)
  • An Undergraduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or a DEC and a minimum of 4 years relevant experience
  • Previous experience working in Retail environment
