Supervisor Product Handling

Job Description:

This role is a great opportunity to effectively execute our daily / weekly planned targets from an operational perspective. This position is working on a 7 on, 7 off roster with a 24 hour rotation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure Team members work safely and follow all safety regulations and standards and provide feedback when necessary
• Participate in daily CRM focused meetings and identify critical risks to personnel. In this role you will be responsible as a “driving force” for CRM implementation in the Operational Team
• Work closely with area Operations and Asset Management Teams to ensure that both production and reliability priorities are achieved
  Participate in daily and weekly Production Management Cycle activities to develop and execute our operational plans
• Actively participate in IOC’s safety program and role model appropriate behaviors (CRM auditing, group safety talks, planned general inspections, accident / investigation, etc.)
• Provide area expertise and support to ongoing operational and improvement projects in the area

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an operational context
• College level diploma or equivalent experience is required
• Must demonstrate a style of participative management in problem solving
• Must possess good communication skills – written and oral, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to effectively interface with others
• Must have a strong, demonstrated commitment to safety
