Manager

Job Description:

We are growing and looking to add a Manager, Internal Audit focusing on the investment portfolios! Reporting into the Director of Internal Audit responsible for Investment Business Units, you will be responsible for leading the execution of financial and operational audits

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage the completion of engagements, ensuring all engagement are executed, documented and communicated in a timely manner;
• Liaise with internal business partners during the engagements to keep them apprised of progress and outcomes;
• Develop constructive action plans to address the root cause of the issues identified. Present the findings and subsequent recommendations to the leadership;
• Prepare audit reports;
• Follow-up on management’s remediation plans on a timely basis;
• Maintain sufficient and current understanding of the organization and the underlying risks to provide meaningful input during the annual audit plan preparation;

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in an external (assurance or consulting) or internal audit capacity;
• Strong knowledge of Capital Markets, Investment or related risk management/ compliance/ operations functions;
• Professional designation in accounting (CPA-CA/CGA/CMA), audit (CIA) or related (CFA) is preferred;
• Strong knowledge of audit techniques including but not limited to testing of controls and data analytics;
