Job Description:
We are looking for a candidate with strong tax, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills to join our highly engaged, high-reaching, and experienced team in the financial core downtown Toronto. In this role, you’ll have responsibility for assisting the Senior Manager with the Global tax compliance function.
Job Responsibilities:
- Working closely with Finance, Legal and External Advisors, ensuring tax filings are completed timely and accurately
- Ensure timely remittance of required tax payments, such as instalments and withholding tax
- Manage information for the compilation of annual transfer pricing documentation
- Ensure adherence to Country-by-Country Reporting, as well as CRS reporting
- Manage information flow for global income tax audits
- Provide ongoing support for other business units, including the communication of tax issues and risks
Job Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience and credentials that reflect a background in progressive tax exposure (compliance, provisions, and research)
- CPA designation
- CPA Canada’s In-Depth Tax Program an asset (working towards or completion of)
- Bachelor of Commerce, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent
