Job Description:

We are looking for a candidate with strong tax, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills to join our highly engaged, high-reaching, and experienced team in the financial core downtown Toronto. In this role, you’ll have responsibility for assisting the Senior Manager with the Global tax compliance function.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with Finance, Legal and External Advisors, ensuring tax filings are completed timely and accurately
  • Ensure timely remittance of required tax payments, such as instalments and withholding tax
  • Manage information for the compilation of annual transfer pricing documentation
  • Ensure adherence to Country-by-Country Reporting, as well as CRS reporting
  • Manage information flow for global income tax audits
  • Provide ongoing support for other business units, including the communication of tax issues and risks

Job Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience and credentials that reflect a background in progressive tax exposure (compliance, provisions, and research)
  • CPA designation
  • CPA Canada’s In-Depth Tax Program an asset (working towards or completion of)
  • Bachelor of Commerce, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent
