COUNSELLOR

Job Description:

The Counsellor, within Wellness & Psychological Services, Student Affairs, is a professional resource faculty member reporting to the Chair of Wellness & Psychological Services.

Job Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Counselling/Clinical Psychology or Clinical Social Work
• Professional registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists or the Alberta College of Social Workers
• Professional general assessment and counselling experience
• Group facilitation and workshop development experience
• Preference given to those with prior experience in the post-secondary education system
• Ability to work within and contribute to building an effective multidisciplinary professional team;
• Demonstrates and incorporates the principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion in their professional practice and critically apply an anti-oppressive framework.
