Job Description:
Promote the organization’s initiatives and act as an expert in detecting inventory losses and in-store security issues
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement asset protection policies, strategies and procedures to meet the organization’s vision
- Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to team members regarding asset protection and health and safety
- Analyze in-store risks by ensuring that a security program is in place; identify incident trends to develop and implement prevention solutions
- Protect the organization’s customers, associates and assets by minimizing inventory loss while ensuring a clean and safe work environment and store;
- Train associates on inventory loss control (internal theft, external theft and operational errors)
- Collaborate with store associates and notify the management team of any possible issues, suspicious activities and incidents
- Strengthen accountability for policies and procedures and monitor trends in asset protection and health and safety
Job Requirements:
- Regular permit from the private security office (BSP guarding)
- Investigation license (an important asset)
- College or university degree (an asset)
- Administrative skills; computer skills; ability to complete forms, reports and records
