Job Description:

As a team member of the Applied Environmental Planning Program, you are part of a close-knit community of men and women across the country who are making a difference in our environment. In this one-year post-graduate program, our students acquire the skills to promote healthy and sustainable communities during the planning process

Job Requirements:

• You possess a relevant combination of education and current, progressive experience, including a degree/diploma in a Planning related program.
• You have experience in teaching or working as a planner and you actively research and keep abreast of current issues and trends related to the planning sector.
• Preference will be given to candidates with teaching, curriculum design, innovative development and delivery experience at the high school, post-secondary or corporate/industry levels.
• Experience in adult learning and developing/delivering educational materials in alternative formats are assets. This role requires self-motivation, flexibility and a passion for learning and student success.
• You have the drive to continuously learn and achieve results.  You will focus on enhancing the student experience by creating a rich and open learning environment that embraces diversity and providing superior service to students.
• You are able to apply theories of adult learning and teaching, utilize innovative delivery methods and relevant assessment and evaluation techniques, as well as contribute to curriculum and program development.
