Job Description:
As a Senior Broker Account Manager, you play a major role to drive EDC’s growth with the development and strengthening of a portfolio of priority broker partnerships
Job Responsibilities:
- Build higher alignment and productivity with assigned brokerage firms through effective joint annual account planning, quarterly business reviews and execution of the planned activities. Collaborate with EDC teams to deliver on plan and uncover opportunities for improvement.
- Serve brokers with an enhanced business proposition and partnership experience. Seek feedback and market insight from brokers to drive product innovation, continuous improvement projects and higher satisfaction
- Transact, manage and report performance of new business and retention pipelines with assigned broker portfolios. Improve speed-to-market and maximize retention and win-rates
- Enable collaborative relationships between our national sales teams and brokers to deliver added customer value. Optimize business outcomes by leveraging EDC’s full value proposition
- Recruit, train and equip brokers with effective sales and marketing tools to support their efforts to sell EDC’s solutions
Job Requirements:
- University degree in business, finance or related field
- Minimum 5 years of business development experience in international business and/or financial services, or related field
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in managing strategic/national account relationships
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in trade credit insurance and/or finance
