Job Description:

As the HRIS Analyst – Payroll, you will be part of a high performing team working to create value through managing, supporting, delivering and strategically optimizing the Oracle HCM Payroll module. This position is part of a team also supporting Oracle HCM – Absence, Benefits, Core, Compensation, HR Help Desk, HR Reporting and Data Integrations along with many additional projects on the roadmap.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Configure, test, validate and implement system changes (requirements gathering through to implementation, documentation, end user training and communications)
  • Support existing reporting requirements as well as the development of new requests
  • Provide technical support for the bi-weekly payroll processing, year end activities and ongoing business requirements
  • Manage the release of Vertex tax changes
  • Process services requests from inception through to resolution
  • Seek new ways to improve efficiency through automation and improved use of technology
  • Evaluate quarterly releases and new functionality for business fit to improve and optimize current use of the tools
  • Participate in a variety of projects related to the HR systems and business processes associated to each

Job Requirements:

  • Understanding of HR operations and experience in employee data management
  • Minimum 5 years HRIS/Payroll Systems experience in an HRIS or IS support capacity working with Oracle – Human
  • Capital Management (HCM), PeopleSoft or comparable Human Capital Management system experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to interact with HR clients, cross-functional colleagues including Finance and
  • Information Services
  • Ability to accurately collect information in order to understand and assess the clients’ needs and situation
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to build, grow and maintain positive relationships with multiple groups
  • Experience in managing internal communication and training plans
  • Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet the time demands of unpredictable activities; capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic business environment
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
