Job Description:
The Mobility Network Maintenance Unit is responsible for asphalt maintenance, repair and rehabilitation projects involving roads, alleys, paths, rail crossing, parking lots, sidewalks, . The General Supervisor is instrumental in creating a positive work culture that promotes diversity and inclusion with the goal of increasing employee engagement and overall team performance.
Job Responsibilities:

- A Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation is considered an asset. P.Eng requires the member to be in good standing with APEGA

- Utilize experience in senior leadership roles with a large, complex organization
- A Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) is considered an asset. C.E.T. requires the member to be in good standing with ASET
- Integrate multi-disciplinary teams to work collaboratively with stakeholders supporting corporate priorities
- Think strategically to address large, complex issues, to manage emergent projects while steering dynamically
- Understand complex municipal subject matter and build influential relationships with Council, external agencies, orders of government, community organizations and internal departments and branches
- Apply knowledge or training and/or education in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration or a related discipline
- A Master’s Degree in a related field would be considered an asset
Job Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, teamwork, problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell.
- Experience with MFA, SSO and identity management standards like SAML and OAuth.
- Able to perform the physical requirements of the job, including lifting up to 35 kilograms.
- As part of your pre-hire screening you will be required to complete an Enhanced Security Clearance. Should you accept employment with the
- Edmonton Police Service you acknowledge and agree to participate in future Enhanced Security Re-Clearances at scheduled intervals or in any other circumstances, exigent or otherwise, as required by Human Resources Division.University Degree in an appropriate specialty specifically related to Infrastructure administration and analysis and one (1) year progressively responsible experience in Infrastructure administration and maintenance. OR Post secondary Diploma in an appropriate specialty specifically related to Infrastructure administration and analysis and two (2) years progressively responsible experience in Infrastructure administration and maintenance. OR One (1) year Certificate* in an appropriate specialty specifically related to Infrastructure administration and analysis and four (4) years progressively responsible experience in
- Infrastructure administration and maintenance. (* relevant computer certificate programs generally have a minimum of 700+ instructional hours and will include relevant course work to the position. Completion of the twelfth school grade or GED is required.)
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Highly self-motivated with the proven ability to work independently to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a mission critical high-pressure environment.

- Edmonton Police Service you acknowledge and agree to participate in future Enhanced Security Re-Clearances at scheduled intervals or in any other circumstances, exigent or otherwise, as required by Human Resources Division.
- Able to rapidly acquire in-depth knowledge of unfamiliar systems through research and self learning.
- Experience with supported Windows server operating systems, Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft 365, S3 and Object storage, Exchange 2013 and Blackberry Enterprise Server 12, VMware ESXi server 6.x, HPE storage area networks, and HPE Blade/Synergy/Apollo server hardware.
- University Degree in an appropriate specialty specifically related to Infrastructure administration and analysis and one (1) year progressively responsible experience in Infrastructure administration and maintenance. OR Post secondary Diploma in an appropriate specialty specifically related to Infrastructure administration and analysis and two (2) years progressively responsible experience in Infrastructure administration and maintenance. OR One (1) year Certificate* in an appropriate specialty specifically related to Infrastructure administration and analysis and four (4) years progressively responsible experience in Infrastructure administration and maintenance.
