Job Description:

Reporting to the Principal Investigator, the Research Project Coordinator is responsible for the execution of the basic investigative tasks related to the project.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating research meetings
  • Executing research and knowledge mobilization activities (e.g., facilitating zoom-based focus group events)
  • Ensuring timely completion of research project outputs
  • Enhancing networking between team members
  • Working with superintendents, school administrators, and other stakeholders to plan and facilitate research events and knowledge mobilization activities
  • Other related duties as assigned
  • Proactively engaging with stakeholders/researchers
  • Liaising with community partners, schools, and organizations

Job Requirements:

  • Experience working in a virtual environment and familiarity with Microsoft Office, Zoom, Canva, and Eventbrite
  • Experience in qualitative research approaches
  • Master’s degree or commensurate experience is required including graduate training in community-engaged research in the field of education
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, including event planning and/or project management
