Job Description:
Reporting to the Principal Investigator, the Research Project Coordinator is responsible for the execution of the basic investigative tasks related to the project.
Job Responsibilities:
- Facilitating research meetings
- Executing research and knowledge mobilization activities (e.g., facilitating zoom-based focus group events)
- Ensuring timely completion of research project outputs
- Enhancing networking between team members
- Working with superintendents, school administrators, and other stakeholders to plan and facilitate research events and knowledge mobilization activities
- Other related duties as assigned
- Proactively engaging with stakeholders/researchers
- Liaising with community partners, schools, and organizations
Job Requirements:
- Experience working in a virtual environment and familiarity with Microsoft Office, Zoom, Canva, and Eventbrite
- Experience in qualitative research approaches
- Master’s degree or commensurate experience is required including graduate training in community-engaged research in the field of education
- Strong planning and organizational skills, including event planning and/or project management
